Thank you to the hundreds of committed supporters who have donated to Marty’s campaign—his first fundraising quarter contributions totaled over $800,000!
The results prove that the community’s grassroots efforts are paying off—nearly 60% of the donations were for $250 or less, which shows that every dollar counts.
Marty joined a crowd in Momence (Kankakee County) for lunch recently to introduce himself and talk about why he is running for Congress in the 11th District.
As he sat and ate with the group of more than 40 people, he discussed his issue priorities and took time to listen to theirs. Marty's concerns over the current state of our economy and soaring gas prices were shared by all.
Manning the pumps this morning at a Gas City located in Mokena, Marty commiserated with fellow community members about sky-rocketing gas prices.
As he filled the tanks of cars, SUVs, a motor home, and even a 2-gallon jug for a lawn mower, Marty interacted one-on-one with all sorts of people concerned with the amount of money they are pouring into their vehicles.
A huge thanks to the overwhelming number of people who showed their support by attending Marty Ozinga’s campaign kick-off at Angelino’s Restaurant in Mokena on April 30th.
In a packed room buzzing with excitement, community members from all over District 11 and beyond poured out their support and encouragement.
Ozinga for Congress received a $25 check in the mail today from a truck driver who - like many folks in the 11th District - is struggling right now. We're humbled that he believed strongly enough in Marty to give what he could - and he's right: every little bit helps.
